Projects
North Vancouver
This was a great project to work on involving a bit of everything we do. The original vinyl was failing, the railings were top mounted (allowing water to penetrate the vinyl) and the stairs were too steep for a young family. We corrected the problem by removing a few feet of the deck to allow for new stairs to be built at a proper angle for little legs, building new stairs with Cedar treads and grip strips to ensure no one would ever slip. We removed the old vinyl and installed Deksmart ‘Dove Grey’ Ultra Smoothback and installed new side mount, square top black picket railings with a gate at the top of the stairs. The result is a great new and most importantly safe place for the family to enjoy for years to come.
